Review by hotel critic
Review of Casa de Ángeles, AsturiasNestled in the tranquil countryside, Casa de Ángeles presents an inviting blend of comfort and rustic charm. This Asturian stone house, renowned for its architectural finesse, impressed me with its high standards, as reflected in its features commonly celebrated in design publications. During my six-night stay post-Camino, the tranquillity provided a welcome respite. My spacious room, adorned with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, offered essential amenities such as Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, enhancing my experience. The common areas, including a delightful outdoor dining space, were ideal for unwinding. Ángeles, the host, exemplifies warmth and hospitality, ensuring every breakfast was a sumptuous affair filled with homemade delights. While the lack of nearby dining options might pose a challenge for some, it encourages exploration or a brief walk to local gems. The creaky wooden floors were a minor inconvenience, signaling an authentic touch, yet they could disrupt nighttime peace. Casa de Ángeles balances value with a touch of luxury, making it a prudent choice for those seeking both comfort and an authentic cultural experience.
